Fabric first
Ready-to-wear lives or dies on fabric. We buy in small quantities from mills we have used before, and we would rather cut fifteen pieces from a good cloth than fifty from a cheap one.
Pieces that repeat
Everything here is designed to be worn against what you already own. Neutral bases, considered proportion, and colour used deliberately rather than seasonally.
Care that keeps them
Every ready-to-wear piece ships with fabric-specific care instructions. Followed properly, these are five-year garments, not five-wear ones.
